Finding Quality Time with God
All my life, I have jumped out of bed as soon as the alarm went off. I could perform my morning hygiene, eat breakfast on the go, and drive to work. As a mother and wife, my day was full. I was on the go from the time I got home until bedtime. I was an avid book reader, so after everyone and everything was situated, I would read my book. I would say my prayers.
Somehow, as time progressed, I didn’t find myself reading as much as I once did. I wasn’t praying like I used to do, either. I was playing games on my phone, though. For the last year or so I have been interacting with a guy on Facebook who posts this every day:
At first, I ignored it. Then I occasionally done it. This guy is my life coach and he suggested that I try meditating or take some quality time for myself daily. I thought about it. I was feeling a little guilty about not doing it but that did not make me start. During Covid I was not going to church and afterwards I did not go back. But every day, my friend and life coach posted:
Another thing my life couch talks about is taking advantage of low hanging fruit. On my computer, I had engaged in three services that sent me emails of daily scriptures. I was not reading them.
One morning, after I saw his post, I decided to do it. A few days later, I decided to read the scriptures (my low hanging fruit) that were available. Now, I every morning I can say:
